Truck Story
The story of The Little Taquero
This particular van used to be a prisoner transportation vehicle in France! His journey has been a long one and it's incredible to think the same van is now serving Central American street food in the South West of England.
Make & Model
1978 Renualt Estafette
Specialty
We specialise in tacos with influences from Mexico and Central America.
Ideal Customer
Our ideal customer is someone who appreciates authentic and fresh food. There are a lot of man hours behind our tacos and when a customer revels in all the flavours they are experiencing, it makes the long hours and extra preparation worth it.
Self Supporting
Yes.
Signature Dish
Our signature dish is the Al Pastor which comes straight from the streets of Mexico City. Cooked in gluten free Mexican beer and achiote, our shredded free-range pork is stacked on authentic Belizean recipe frijoles (refriend beans) and topped with pico de gallo (fresh red salsa), guacamole and chargrilled pineapple.

Favourite Place
I think when push comes to shove however it may have to be King Street as the atmosphere is amazing! There's good beer, music and wafts of delicious cooking from all the street food traders - what more could anyone need?!
