Truck Story
The story of The Bug Bar
Its made from fibre glass. The mould was taken from two ends of a splitty (none were hurt in the operation) the creation of Matt at Dubbox, then customised with fridges, LEDs and festival themed decor.
Make & Model
It is a custom made replica of a VW camper, its actually a trailer so I tow it to the events.
Specialty
We serve drinks, we specialise in excellent service with a fully stocked bar, so anything from cocktails to craft beers, Prosecco to Raspberry Mojitos. Cocktails are the most popular but we tailor our drinks menu to suit each event.
Ideal Customer
Most customers are brides, so those who have a vision and understanding of what we bring to their wedding - i.e. an iconic retro van with lovely staff, excellent drinks, a micro party with a touch of festival chic. The clients always love the Bugbar.
Self Supporting
We rarely need to supply our own power, we hook up to a normal plug socket. We usually source water at the event as well but have a built in water tank and optional generators.
Signature Dish
Our signature cocktail is “A Little bit of Passion” - - Stollies Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Passion fruit, Mango served over crushed ice - delicious!
