The story of The Big Butty Bar
Having met whilst working overseas, my partner and I were chatting about all the amazing international food we had tried yet we realised that what we really craved was the comfort food back home we always enjoyed and especially a chip butty. Realising that this wasn't available back home it was the perfect opportunity to develop The Big Butty Bar.
Make & Model
Currently working out of a gazebo but will shortly be working from a Food Truck, so watch this space!
Specialty
Amazing range of gourmet chip butties, all made from the best Maris Piper potatoes and double cooked to get the perfect fluffy middle yet crispy outside chip! Our bread rolls are freshly baked to ensure the ultimate chip butties!
Ideal Customer
We have customers of all ages from school children to businessmen to OAPs! The beauty of our product is everyone loves a chip butty no matter what age.
Self Supporting
Yes we are fully self-sufficient. We bring our own water and run everything off of LPG...no noisy generators from us.
Signature Dish
Celebrating British flavours such as minted lamb, Guinness cooked steak, cheesy Marmite and pulled ham hock we add fillings and toppings to our chip butties.
Private Events
Yes - details can be found on our website and by contacting us via email. We are a great choice for birthday parties and weddings or anytime there is alcohol involved. Chip butties go down very well after a few beers!
