Truck Story
The story of Pulled LDN
Fifi has a dark past that isn't very clear, built and hand crafted by British craftsmen in the early eighties...turned into a jacket potato van sometime in the late nineties, catering in many other disguises until 2 years ago when we got our hands on her. 10 months of at times painful and renovation finally our beauty was on the road again. Very much a part of the family now...
Make & Model
1930's Ollerton Replica: She was a beauty that we fell in love with when we first saw her. Despite the work required we knew she was the unique van we wanted!
Specialty
We serve a complete range of slow roasted, hand pulled free range British meats. All with amazing flavours, not just BBQ but spicy beef, melt in your mouth lamb and delicious chicken. Why? Because I fell in love with pulled meat the very first time I cooked it.
Ideal Customer
Would not say we have an ideal customer, we are always very grateful to any customer who queues up for our food but you definitely really appreciate those customers who go out of their way to come back and tell me how much they loved their food!!
Self Supporting
Pretty much fully self supporting as we run on gas. Power is always plus though especially if we are trading into the night - lights become quite useful.
Signature Dish
Probably our Maple & Hickory, 14 hour, slow roasted lamb shoulder! Comes with our neon red onion and red cabbage slaw pickled in lime juice with fresh mint, our homemade sticky chilli + bourbon sauce and bursting pomegranates.
Private Events
