The story of Mission Pizza
Our truck is unique and was hand-built by Rich and Lyn from The English Caravan Company who specialise in teardrop caravan pods and caravan catering conversions. After explaining what we wanted, they designed and hand-built the trailer from scratch, insulated our oven inside and even hand-turned the wooden side-lights.
Make & Model
It is a hand-built 1950s-style teardrop caravan trailer with a 1.2m diameter wood-fired oven built into it.
Neapolitan style pizzas with a NY influence. We are award winning artisan bakers and use 100% sourdough bases, using just flour, water, salt and a smidge of oil. We use Italian flour and tomatoes and locally sourced toppings. We specialise in vegetarian and vegan pizzas.
All pizza lovers!! (And who doesn't love pizza?!) Our dough takes 3 days to make and we take a lot of care over the selection of our ingredients, plus our pizzas are characters in themselves, hand-stretched, topped and baked right in front of the customer.
Probably our spicy fennel sausage pizza with tomato sauce, chilli flakes, onion and jalapeños.
